Feb 22, 2014 · The problem is that I have a linksys router connected to an arris modem/router combined and I cannot access the settings on the linksys router.What is popping up is the setting for the arris router. Maybe there is a conflict with the ip address? If so how do i change the ip address of the linksys router if i cannot access it?

By setting your modem to bridge mode, this allows your Linksys router to control all internet access. Basically it opens up your DSL modem to allow any and all internet access straight through it, just like opening a water line.
